Governor Phil Murphy signed Executive Order 103 regarding the health and well-being of NJ residents.  You can see these guidelines and frequently asked questions by going to: https://www.state.nj.us/csc/employees/covid.html.  We have also attached these documents to this message.

Information about Covid-19 is being updated daily.  Please note that the information we are providing today may change.

If you believe you have been exposed, you should self isolate, contact the Department of Health and your doctor and follow their guidance.

The attached Guidelines provide for:

  • Alterations to Existing Work Arrangements
  • Leave Time Procedures – Paid leave if you have been exposed, diagnosed or directed to self-quarantine by a medical professional because of COVID – 19
  • School Closures and payment to workers
  • Changes to staffing
  • Medical Documentation

There may be workers who have compromised immune systems or who may not be comfortable working with the public.  These workers should fill out leave forms.  They must use their own time.

Please note that:

  • Work from home cannot be granted for all
  • Online classes may be extended

Please wash your hands frequently, do not come to work if you are sick, and contact your Branch President or Shop Steward with questions.

Stay Healthy,
